Fathers want to share the workload: pollWorkopolis poll sheds light on fathers’
feelings toward family responsibilities.
Today both women and men are working, however, women still continue to do most of
the work around the house. What has changed over the years is that men are more ready to share family responsibilities
and work around the house. Workopolis recently conducted a poll with employed men. The poll found that approximately 71% of men feel bad when their jobs do not give them time to take care of family responsibilities. Another finding from the poll was that 56% of men would take a 10% pay cut if it resulted in them being able to spend more time with their children. Men see the importance of being there for your children as they grow up. Forty nine percent of fathers also said they would change employers if the other employer offered them more family-friendly options.
