He said the four-year campaign, which is called "Live, work, play - be well", will be co-ordinated by the Department of Wellness, Culture and Sport and the Office of Human Resources. "As premier and as someone devoted to physical activity and healthy living, I am proud that our government is among the first in Canada to launch such a comprehensive wellness initiative," he said in a news release. The five goals of the program are to: improve the wellness of public employees; reduce modifiable health risks and decrease the high prevalence of chronic disease; identify initiatives and activities to promote a healthy workplace; encourage success in achieving personal and corporate wellness goals and milestones; and and improve morale and job satisfaction.
