Productivity may slump but some companies embrace Olympics as morale booster

Organizations embrace Olympic craze.

The Olympic craze has taken over the nation, but also over the workplace.

Rather than trying to fight employees who are watching the Olympics on work time, workplaces are embracing it.  The good old `if you can`t beat `em, join `em` approach is being used.

Many organizations all over Canada are accommodating Olympic viewing.  Organizations believe by making these accommodations they can boost employee morale.

Some organizations have come up with a range of Olympic-themed contests and pools.  Other organizations have decorated the office with Olympic-themed decorations and set up areas to view the Olympics. Some companies even celebrate when a Canadian has won a metal.

Knowing that workplaces accommodates employee interests may cause employees to appreciate their workplaces more.  Once the Olympic craze is over organizations may experience increased retention, dedication, and productivity!
