Two-thirds of pregnant women exposed to physical risk at workA study has found that
approximately two-thirds of women believe they are at physical risk at work.
 The study was done by researchers at the
Higher Centre for Public Health Research located in Spain. The study looked at employment and sociodemographic characteristics involved in exposing pregnant women to workplace hazards. Study findings: -56% had to stand up or lift heavy objects at work -63% felt they were under workplace stress -62% were at physical risk at work -22% exposed to a chemical agent -6% exposed to biological risk factors (from jobs that involved caring for others).
